The Marist House of Light offers three newly refurbished ensuite rooms for retreat guests. Each room offers a sitting room and adjoining bedroom.

Gardening can be a physical form of prayer, offering a quiet sanctuary for meditation, reflection, and spiritual growth. The House of Light offers a quiet reflective space in our inner courtyard to sit, pray and ponder. Comfortable seating offers a space for all guests to soak in the beauty of nature. Local fauna frequently visit our bird bath and feeding station so there is always plenty to observe and reflect upon in this colourful reflective space.
In cooler weather guests can sit and enjoy the colourful courtyard from the comfort of the dining room.

The ‘Marist House of Light’ offers a variety of comfortable spaces to sit, reflect and pray. A modern welcoming facility offers the ideal space to step away from the pace of life, offering time to rejuvenate and spend some time in prayer.

Our newly refurbished chapel offers retreat guests a quiet prayerful space to sit, reflect and soak in the silence.
The chapel is open from 6.30am until late each day.
The resident community of Brothers gather for morning prayer at 7am and for Evening prayer at 6pm. All guests are invited and welcome to join the community in their rhythm of prayer.
An external courtyard is located outside the Chapel entrance that also offers a quiet reflective space for guests.

The Kitchen has recently been upgraded and modernized.
All evening meals are prepared by the brothers or retreat house staff, offering a wholesome and diverse range of food.
Dietary requirements can be discussed at the time of booking to ensure particular needs are catered for.
Breakfast, Lunch and morning tea are prepared and available in the dining room at the convenience of guests. The dining room offers newly refurbished facilities, microwave, electric jug, fridge and all the necessary equipment to ensure a comfortable stay.
The dining room remains open throughout a guests stay with all facilities conveniently available as required. A range of fruit, tea, coffee and small snacks are all available in the dining room throughout your stay.

The Marist House of Light offers a gift shop which provides a range of Spiritual Books, prayer Journals and a variety of religious gifts. These can be purchased during your stay by seeing the House Manager. Purchases can be made by local residents by arranging a time to visit. Please ring us on 0438 689 137.
